Roasted Spiced Chickpeas

Servings: 2-4 as a snack

Timings: 5 mins prep, 40-55 mins cooking

Roasted chick peas are such a great healthy snack to have. Don’t forget that the liquid (unsalted) drained from the tin, can be whisked up to create awesome vegan meringues!


20-30g Zing Foods Pepper Spiced coconut oil

400g tin of chickpeas


Set the oven to 180 degrees, rinse the chickpeas and dry off

When oven is to temperature, melt the oil for a minute or two in a roasting tin, add chickpeas, and shake them around to evenly spread the flavour. Cook for 45-55 minutes, shaking the tin every 15 minutes to spread the flavour evenly
